Attention all 2003-2004 Past Matrons.

If you are going to attend the OV at White Mountain #8 in Globe this Saturday afternoon, please wear your 2003-2004 WM dress. There are quite a few of the Grand Officers who were WM's that year, and so we decided to wear those dresses at the Globe OV. See you there.

White Mountain Chapter sends best wishes to all Arizona Sisters and Brothers for a prosperous 2008!

We would like for you to join us for our Official Visit to be held this year on Saturday, March 15 at 2:00 PM.

There will be a Dutch Treat Lunch at the China Taste Restaurant at 11 :30 AM prior to the meeting, if you would care to join us. And we will have light refreshments after the meeting in the dining room.

A special, fun program is planned for your entertainment and we will present Fifty Year Membership pins!

We mourn the loss of our Sister Helen Tizard, who was a Past Matron of Miami Chapter and a Life Member here.

We have greatly missed seeing her in Globe these last few years.

White Mountain Chapter 8, Globe

Four members met on October 20th to clean our section of Highway 60 and we will do this again on December 15. This is lots of work but the fellowship of working together is good. Hopefully the weather will be cooler in December.

We have lost two good Officers in a move to Colorado. George and Karen Ecklund have moved to be near family, which we understand, but we will surely miss them. Good Luck Karen and George.

Come visit us on December 6 for our Regular Meeting. Sister Nancy, Worthy Matron, is planning a Christmas Cookie Potluck. Bring a batch of your favorite Christmas Cookies or sandwich, share the recipes and we'll all share the fun.

The members of White Mountain Chapter #8 send their best wishes to all of our Sisters and Brothers for a Happy Holiday Season!

White Mountain Chapter #8 is very proud to have a Grand Officer this year!! Congratulations Brother Joe Henry, our Grand Chaplain. We hope you will have a wonderful year and we will be supporting you all the way. Sister Nancy was installed as Worthy Matron again in May and now we have Brother Joe's daughter, Sister Ellen, in the West.

We will be selling those perfect pecans as a fund raiser again this fall. Call Sister Nancy at (928) 425-6686 if you are interested in baking with them. Nancy does not have a price at this time, but expects to know soon.

We still get together at local restaurants for lunch on the second Saturday of each month for fellowship with our meal. Plan to come visit us and we promise - no steep stairs! Other family members are welcome, too. Call Nancy for time and place. We'd love to have company.

On Saturday, September 29th we will join the Masons to clean our portion of the highway North of Globe, but our activities are not all work, Sister Nancy is planning some leisured times. Come visit!!
