Leian Faulkner
  • 3rd generation Arizona native
  • graduated from North High School in 1973 and received a BA Degree in Management from University of Phoenix
  • member of Job's Daughters for 39 years & am a Past Honored Queen & a Past Grand Bethel Honored Queen. I was Bethel Guardian of 4 Bethels, an a past Grand Guardian & Grand Secretary Emeritus. Have also received the Degree of Royal Purple & the sunburst of Honor awards for service to the Order.
  • Joined Order of the Eastern Star in 2001 and belong to Peoria chapter #59 currently serving as Worthy Matron. I also belong to Stars of paradise chapter #56 currently serving as Chaplain. Followed my real life sister in line at Peoria and with her, was involved in initiating our mom into Peoria Chapter two years ago.
  • home life - husband of 10 years, Lee Hill, no kids, just cats, 3 of them.
  • working for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona for 11 years in the Information Technology Department
  • looking forward to having a lot of fun this year and accomplishing our goals of increasing friendship within our Masonic Family, communication within our membership, and fun in our meetings.

    Paul Zimmerman
  • born and raised in New York. Moved to Arizona in 1951 with the thought that there would be Indians that he could confront. Disappointed to find green grass & regular dwellings.
  • completed elementary school at Winfield Scott Elementary, started high school at Scottsdale High for two years and completed last two years at Carl Hayden and became a member of the first graduating class held at Carl Hayden. Paul then enrolled at Phoenix College and obtained an AA in Engineering.
  • after graduation, Paul enlisted in the Marine Corps and served for 6 years.
  • Paul then enrolled in the University of Phoenix & obtained a BS in Business
  • first marriage was for 20 years and gave him eight wonderful children
  • home life - wife of 19 years, Pat Zimmerman. With Pat's three children, the total number of children is 11, grand children 25 and one great grand child.
  • after marriage to Pat, who encouraged Paul to become a Mason, also joined Scottish Rite, El Zaribah Shrine, Order of the Amaranth, and Order of the Eastern Star
  • as soon as Paul became a Mason, he also became Bethel Associate Guardian of Bethel #22, IOJD during which time the friendship with Leian began. After Paul became a Shriner, wife Pat joined Sphinx Court #65 Ladies Oriental Shrine, Order of the Amaranth, Daughters of the Nile, and Order of the Eastern Star.
  • currently retired but works part time for Moore Motors as a customer service shuttle driver
  • since we have no kids at home, our kids are our pets, 4 cats and 1 dog
  • am also looking forward to having a lot of fun this year with Leian at the helm, helping her create lasting friendships in our Masonic family, plus giving and receiving hugs to help convey this friendship.

    Peoria Chapter #59 News

    Sisters & Brothers: a wonderful time was had by all at Peoria Chapter #59 at the Ice Cream Social and Fashion Show. Many creative designs were displayed for Sister Sue Peterson for consideration and evaluation.

    September 2 - Peoria Chapter will be serving dinner at the lodge. Members please Mark your calendars and come to help out.
    September 14 - meeting practice
    September 15, 2008 will be the first meeting after the long hot summer with a welcome back potluck followed by a regular meeting at 7:30 pm. We will be honoring Grand Chapter Appointments, Rob Morris, and Masonic Brothers.
    Also keep in mind that the Chapter will have a Bakeless Bake Sale going on and all donations can be made to Sister Pat Peterson.
