Our meeting on December 6th was very nice. We had our Christmas meeting on December 20th.
We had a membership tea on December 9th. We had 3 prospective members show up and were impressed. It was very informative. Marie Rapoport chaired the event and did a superb job. She wrote a short explanation on what we are about. It was well thought out and left very few questions to be answered.
We are planning to have more of these get-to-gethers soon. They seem to have an effect.
Our Friendship Night is January 17 at 7:30 PM at the Masonic Temple in Kingman, 212 North 4th Street
March 6 is the Honor Night for our District Instructor, Tori Loll.

We held our first meeting on September 6th at 7:30 PM. All were glad to be back in the groove. We have some projects for the coming year. One is a Spaghetti Dinner (time and date to be announced), a Sweetheart Breakfast, and a Phantom Ball. Place: Wherever you are. Time: Time that suits you. RSVP: By donation (as the spirit moves you).
Our Chapter Birthday was November 1 st. It was very nice.
Some of our members have been attending Grand Chapter in Colorado, Oklahoma, Nevada, New Mexico, South Dakota and Arkansas. One of our new members (Jo Mc Intosh) while on a business trip to Connecticut attended an Official Visit at Sachem Chapter #57, in Norwich, Connecticut. Jo contacted Judy Reynolds, PM (Lucia #25) through the Connecticut Grand Chapter web site (ctoes.com) and was referred to Past Grand Matron Francine Bailey, (Temple #53) who also works in Hartford. Although initially strangers, Francine and Jo quickly developed a good Eastern Star friendship and decided to attend an Official Visitation of Worthy Grand Matron Joyce Armoath and her Associate Grand Officers. Jo, a former Rainbow girl and the daughter of a member of the Oklahoma Indian Degree Team, is also a member of the Native American Muskogee Creek Tribe, was pleased to be able to visit Sachem Chapter which is named after the first Sachem of the Mohegan Indian Tribe, one located in Norwich, Connecticut. This is one example of how members of the Order of Eastern Star can easily make new friends when away from home.
We are looking forward to a very good and interesting year.
