Sister Dora Nickell, Secretary of Acacia #46 had surgery last Thursday. She had her gall bladder removed and hernia repair. Sister Dora is now home and resting comfortable.

Sister Ileane Douglas needs our assistance. She has lost her diamond heart-shaped necklace that was an anniversary present and quite valuable. The last time she wore it was at Acacia Chapter's OV night on January 23rd.

Sisters and Brothers,

I have been in contact today with Hazel's son and she has been transferred to a skilled nursing center only a very short distance from her home. She is getting therapy on her hip as well as her speech. She thanks everyone for all the prayers and the cards she received. Please keep her in your prayers.

Received a phone call from Hazel's son and he reported that Hazel is not doing well. She is in more or less a coma and is not responding to anyone now. Will keep everyone informed.

The following information was related to me from Hazel's son. For those members who know Hazel Stratton, formerly of Sun City Chapter No. 66, she has fallen and severely fractured her hip. With the fracture, she has also suffered a heart attack. To what degree it is not know yet. They cannot operate on the hip with the heart condition and must wait until the heart is stabilized. With these two major problems there is a possibility of the liver shutting down. She is highly sedated at this time and I asked that you keep her in your prayers.
